This does quiet down the cabin a bit. I wouldn't say it is earthshatteringly different, BUT, it does do what it is supposed to do.
The best part is how it makes the interior of your Jeep LOOK.
JKs have much nicer interior design than their predecessors and this "Boom Mat" really adds a more finished look to the interior than just a white hard top.
I recommend for form AND function... but mostly for the form factor.
