It has a deep, throaty sound you will enjoy.

With adjusted fuelling even more is possible.

Hundreds of happy customers uploaded videos of our exhausts on their bikes.
The exhausts are sold as open "Race Version" without Baffle.
This does not mean these are just empty pipes which sound like a tin can.
Inside the exhaust is a bike specific core with a packing of long lasting fiber material, specially composed for this application.
An additional baffle is available, which reduces the noise level but keeps the nice tone and rumble.
Scope of delivery:
1 Set =
1 muffler,
1 mid pipe,
Mounting hardware
Note:
If your bike is equipped with an O2 (lambda) Sensor in the muffler section, you need to purchase an additional O2 Sensor Eliminator.
Our Danmoto Exhausts come without Bungs for O2 sensors.
2008-2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250 R Danmoto JISU Black Exhaust Review
First impression: LOUD. Personally, I like the loudness-- it's deep and throaty. Sounds great at idle, and I love the rumble of down shifting. Definitely sounds a bit sloppy. Makes the stock sound like an electric motor in comparison. Note: No youtube video showing what it sounds like will do justice to the actual sound. Just can't record those lows on a camera! In comparison to the stock, this might be too loud for some. I can't stress enough, this is not a 50% increase in sound, or ever 100% increase. It makes the bike at 5k revs 3-4 times as loud. If you're looking for a slight increase, this is not the exhaust for you. If you want to sound like a beast roaring and growling, then this is a great deal.
Installation: A pain in the butt. No instructions, which is fine because it's fairly intuitive. But molding the mounting bracket (which comes as a straight piece of metal) is definitely a challenge. I recommend bending the bracket while the exhaust is off the bike to fit. This requires that you first place the exhaust on and mark off how you want the bracket to fit in order to line up the holes.
Note: the holes on the mounting bracket are NOT large enough to run the stock bolt through. You'll need a metal drill bit to widen it just a bit.
Not sure what the big springs are for-- if someone knows, please share.
Performance: I definitely get more power in first and some of second gear but I feel that I don't get as tight of a response in third or the higher end. This could be because I'm expecting a specific sound out of the engine when it's working at different revs... but I'm not sure. I haven't been riding for a long time so I can't determine the fine tuning. Haven't ridden it long enough to calculate its effect on mileage.
Last note: After installing and going for a short ride, smelled fire while stopping at a light. Looked down and nothing was actually red or on fire. After heading home and turning the engine off, noticed a little smoke wafting out of the exhaust. Definitely smelled like fire, and not exhaust. This stopped after my next ride. I'm assuming it was just from the pipes heating up for the first time and having some of the excess treatment/welding burn off.
Overall, I like this exhaust and would recommend it. If neighbors are in close proximity... I feel bad for them :)
