I didn't have any trouble assembling these to my truck. The only thing I would mention is that as was noted by another online review, the monunting brackets were mismarked. (At least if you were going to follow the graphic on the included instructions.) If you're not really mechanically inclined like me, give yourself enough time to thouroughly read the instructions and you won't have any problem putting them on. They added a nice touch to my otherwise drab looking truck.
