The rack came with generic instructions and was of little help for a VTX 1300 R. Once I figured it out and installed it, the backrest looked nice on the bike. However, one month later one of the side bolts for the luggage rack fell out as well as did the locking bolt for keeping the rack up and hidden. I am having a heck of a time finding replacement bolts. Please note that there is no thread locker applied to the side luggage rack bolts. Be careful!
