This slip-on was incredibly easy to install, less than a 1/2 hour. I did not have to re-jet the bike, although I understand that I could probably gain a little more performance.
However, even without any changes, my Kawasaki KLX 250SF runs smooth and I can feel the difference, quicker acceleration and better response. The sound is loud but adequate for my daily commute to work. My riding friend that owns the exact same bike but invested $500.00 on a "full" system from another brand, was disappointed to see that my bike runs just as well as his.
Also, comparing the weight of the stock muffler and the DG, there is a HUGE difference, and it looks nicer.
For the price, I can't think of a better investment for your bike.
