Hello, I was running eight speakers with my kenwood comp amp. It was fine up to loud but that was it. I hooked in this gem along with a Sony X and now I can really "feel" the music with out worry of hearing my own voice. Also I have this amp bridged to two channels and find it warms up right away, unlike the kicker 1000.1 sub amp which never gets hot no matter how hard of a night it has had.
