I had the most difficult time finding an affordable headlight assembly for my Suby. The '04 model had a unique shape -- '03 and earlier had the bug eye look; I believe '05-'09 had a more angular design. I did not want to pay $380+ each from Subaru for a headlight! My intercooler didn't even cost that much -- that's just highway robbery!

Been kicking myself because I should have replaced my headlights a few years earlier when there were far more choices on the after market. Now I had a corroded but functioning assembly (which cracked and rainwater accumulated). Very janky.

So when this replacement OEM became available on Amazon, I just jumped on it. Been extremely pleased because it wasn't a big dent on the wallet. This could have been a 5-star review but dinged it a star because you can't adjust the angle of the headlights. Unfortunately these are really bright and clear and points up directly in the face of on-coming traffic with extremely bad glare factor. I feel really bad as many cars often flashed their high-beams at me. Usually I've been using just the running lights at night.

Awesome for the value - can't beat it.
Awful for the kharma factor as you're basically blinding on-coming traffic.

Still 4-stars.

p.s- Can someone give a hint on how to adjust the direction and help me point the headlights a few angles lower? Much appreciated!
