My husband hadn't taken it out of the box because we were going to be moving. After the move, when we didn't have any furniture, he unpacked it so we would have a place at least to sit down. It's actually comfortable, although it doesn't swing. That part is a little disappointing, since the swing is the real appeal of a hammock. But, for a person like me who's nearing senior age, it doesn't tip, so I don't have to worry about falling. It's a bit too heavy to take to the beach, although it will work fine on our patio. It would probably be okay for a camping trip.
